Golf

There are two golf courses within the resort, one 18 hole and the other a 9 hole with spectacular views of Lake Geneva and Mont Blanc whilst teeing off at 1800 metres. Within one hour are a further 6 courses including the championship Royal Evian Course where they play the ladies' Masters.

Swimming

There are 3 outdoor swimming pools, a 50m pool and two fun pools for children and infants together with a water slide. Alternatively, one can swim safely in the three nearby freshwater lakes that have designated swimming, sunbathing and barbecue areas.

Tennis

Morzine has 11 all-weather tennis courts including two clay courts. Courts are available by the hour and rackets can be hired. Coaching is also available.

Adventure Playground

Take on challenges to push your limits on Tarzan leaps, climbs, walkways, death slides and rope bridges.

Mountain Biking

The Portes du Soleil area has 650km of marked trails, with something for everyone, from the extreme technical runs to the gentle runs suited to families and beginners.

Walking

The area offers endless possibilities from easy walks from the chalet along the river to medium walks to the Swiss border, and high glacier treks around Mont Blanc.

Horseriding

The Morzine riding centre offers a large range of equestrian activities. Accompanied rides for all levels follow numerous trails through beautiful mountain scenery. For children and beginners from 5 years old, awareness / saddling sessions in the paddock are available. For the over 3s, the centre offers Pony rides along the forest paths.

Canyoning

Abseil, wade, slide, scramble, swim and jump your way down a gorge and waterfalls.

Paragliding

Morzine is renowned for paragliding and World Cup events are often held here. Tandem flights with an instructor are available and flights last approximately 20 minutes. There is an affiliated 'parapente' school in Morzine with full courses if you wish to learn to fly yourself.

Rock Climbing

Local instructors are available to help you to meet the challenges of the area's cliff faces. Suitable for all levels of expertise.

Canoeing & Kayaking

At lake Montriond and the river Dranse, you can either join in group activities or hire a canoe or kayak and make your own way around the lake.
